In The Catacombs

The Sanctum

You pass under the watchful gaze of the huge twin gargoyles at your sides to a very dimly lit section of the catacombs. You could barely make out anything in the half gloom though you note that it was eeriely quiet. The unpleasant combination of mildew, cobwebs and dust about half an inch thick in some places, makes you sneeze. Squinting heavily, you can make out a small dark depression at the North-eastern section of the passage. You slowly move towards that area...

Altar of a Cult

The Lost Temple

You are in luck! You have found the entrance to a dark cool alcove. Removing some of the rubbles that is obscuring its entrance, you take a good look around. It appears to be an old abandoned Temple dedicated to one of the Gods but you cannot really make out the religious sigils carved into limestone rock itself to see which of the 7 Gods this temple serves. It was too dark anyway. You are almost certain that this decrepit temple once belongs to Belar but no longer.

Maybe you do really need some divine intervention but being a practical person, you would rather have a good look around at other places and see if you can find your way out of this maze. Something caught your eyes. It appears to be the flickering of a torch. You smile. Things are looking up for you now. All you have to do is to make your way there...

Final resting place

The Ancient Mausoleum

The Mausoleum was impressive enough in a morbid fashion but you have no wish to linger in the final resting places of the Rivan Kings longer than you absolutely have to. You walk along the deadly quiet hall, feeling very much like an intruder and there is that possiblity of one of the restless shades demanding his life for disturbing their eternal sleep. You shiver.

Finally the great hall finally come to an end. It appears to be yet another dead end for you. Sighing mournfully you start to walk back to the main part of the Catacombs again, your poor tired feet getting more weary with every step you take.
