Lake Twelve picnic brings Lodge 11 members together

MICKEY BREZNIKAR

AUBURN, Wash. - The members of Greater Northwest Lodge 11 held their annual picnic at Lake Twelve on Aug. 3. We had a good turnout of members and friends. The weather was in the high 70's.

Sis. Fran Chase won the planter made by Tony Primozich and donated for our drawing. We had good Slovenian dancing and listening music provided by the Puget Sound Button Box Group consisting of Frank Hren, Larry Petrowski, Bill Just, Tony Mylnar, Bill Kinkella and Leo Gregorich. David Munoz also played a few songs on his accordion for us.

A special birthday card was signed by all members of our Lodge for Sis. Tina Primozich. Happy Aug. 16 birthday, Tina. Several members of Lodge 738 were also present at the picnic.

Lodge members extend deepest sympathies to the families of Sis. Edith Bech and Bro. Charles Susanj who recently passed away.

Our next meeting will be held on Sunday, Sept. 7, at the Auburn VFW Hall.

Tony and I are planning on attending the Polkafest in Las Vegas, Nev., from Sept. 14-18, but we'll see everyone at the next meeting.
