AUBURN, Wash. - Lodge 11 members did not meet in March due to illnesses of the officers and other commitments.
We wish Mrs. Frances Hren a happy belated birthday (she celebrated March 3) and hope that Grace Doerk's brokenarm is healing well; an injury like that can really hold a person down.
The secretary's and treasurer's books were audited after our Feb. 6 meeting and found to be in good order. Congratulations to Lodge 738 members on their newly elected officers; we look forward to meeting them soon.
Now that spring is here, more activities can be planned outdoors. We will hold our next meeting Sunday, April 2, at the Auburn VFW Hall. Our meeting will follow a happy hour scheduled from 1 to 2 p.m. At the meeting's conclusion, music will be performed by Frank Hren on his new accordion. Be sure to mark your calendar for the April meeting.
