AUBURN, Wash. - The Greater Northwest SNPJ Lodge 11 held a joint Christmas party with SNPJ Lodge 738 and the Women's Slovene Union of Enumclaw, Wash. The party, which was held Dec. 2, was a huge success.
We extend a special thank you to Vicki Munoz for the three beautiful Christmas trees she decorated for us to enjoy. She employed a patriotic theme. One tree was dressed all in red, another in blue and the last in white. They were absolutely gorgeous.
Frank Hren provided Christmas music on his accordion console. The Puget Sound Button Box Group belted out the tunes, while we listened and danced throughout the party. Santa stopped by to visit, carrying a gift for each of the 24 youngsters.
Each guest, 85 in all, toted a potluck dish, contributing to a bountiful holiday feast. We certainly hope that everyone had a Merry Christmas, and we wish a happy New Year to everyone.
The members of Lodge 11 will hold their next meeting Jan. 6 at the Auburn VFW Hall in Auburn, Wash. The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. We hope to see you there.
