Walter H. Susanj of Federal Way, WA, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the age of 93. He was born July 13, 1923 in Walter is survived by his loving wife of years, Peggy,
Walter was a long-time and very supportive member of SNPJ Mt. Rainier Lodge 738, having served as secretary and president in the past. He was currently serving as our vice president. In 2000, Walter was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Tamburitza Association of America for exhibiting a lifetime commitment to the preservation and growth of tambura music in America.
A funeral service will be held for Walter on this coming Friday, November 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Bonney-Watson Memorial Park located at 16445 International Boulevard (Highway 99) in Sea-Tac, Washington.
