At one time, it was thought that the Greek poet Homer and his accounts of
the Trojan War were little more than mythological creations that had
little to no bearing on reality. This all changed in 1822 when Charles
Mclaren uncovered the ruins of the city of Troy. The Bible, too, is being
accepted these days as historical accounts of actual happenings in the
past-albeit in a language that has been edited, reedited, translated, and
passed down from one age to the next. Following this same line of
speculation, it's possible that other ancient texts also contain
historically accurate information that might deserve a second look.
In the book Kantyau from the world of Tibet, Buddha speaks of 'pearls in
the sky' and other transparent spheres in which the gods used to visit
men.
In ancient Hindu texts such as the Bhagavata-Purana, Ramayana, and other
scriptures, the writers speak of vimanas which were flying machines that
travelled through the air.
Vedic writings talk about Devas which were supposedly administrators from
a universal and hierarchic government who said that the human soul
occupies a succession of physical bodies. The Devas themselves flew around
in objects from space and they used them to visit humans on earth.
The Popul Vuh, a sacred book of the Mayan indians, stated that their
ancestors could examine the four corners of the round face of the earth,
during the time when the rest of the planet believed the earth to be flat.
In Babylonia, a book entitled 'The flight of Etana' spoke about an ascent
into space where Etana was taken up and saw that the earth was round, and
as he flew further and further away, the earth became little more than a
speck of dust.
In the Book of Genesis, Jacob had a nightly visitation while camping where
a "ladder set up on the earth , and the top of it reached to heaven and
the angels of god were ascending and descending on it."
Psalms 104 states: "He wraps himself in light as with a garment; he
stretches out the heavens like a tent and lays the beams of his upper
chambers on their waters. He makes the clouds his chariot and rides on
the wings of the wind."
In the book of Ezekiel, "I looked, and saw a wind coming out of the
north-an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by a
brilliant light; the center of the fire looked like glowing metal, and in
the fire was what looked like four living creatures. In appearance their
form was that of man, but each of them had four faces and four wings.
Their legs were straight; their feet like those of a calf and gleamed like
burnished bronze." He goes on to say that, "The creatures sped back and
forth like flashed of lightning" and "Their rims were high and awesome,
and all four rims were full of eyes all around."
Chinese texts speak of dragons that flew through the air.
Peruvians mention bearded white strangers called "Viracochas" that brought
civilization to earth following a great destruction. The Peruvian planes
are filled with gigantic pictographs of birds, monkeys, and what appear to
be landing strips.
Joseph Smith, the man who formed the Mormon religion, states of his own
visitation where he saw "...a pillar of light exactly over my head, above
the brightness of the sun, which descended gradually and it fell upon me.
It no sooner appeared than I found myself delivered from the enemy which
held me bound. When the light rested upon me I saw two Personages, whose
brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air.
One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the
other-This Is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!"
Mesopotamian texts say that there was a time before human beings existed
where Earth was inhabited by members of a custodial civilization to
exploit rich mineral and other natural resources on the planet. They also
credit the creation of homo sapians to a god named Ea. Ea was somewhat of
an advocate for the human race and spoke before this custodial council on
behalf of them.
In fact, no matter what religious or ancient texts you go through they
will describe lights coming from the sky, beings from other worlds, and in
the context of today's UFO experiences, these passages take on a whole new
meaning.
With today's video technology and cameras we have captured some of these
ships on film, yet the denial by the government continues. It has been
estimated that 57% of the American public believes in UFOs, despite
official denial. What is there to gain by keeping the truth from us?
I for one am willing to forgive, so quit digging yourself into a deeper
hole.
