Daria is the title character, a cynical, sarcastic, sardonic "misery chick." She has no known middle name. Her family includes Jake, Helen, and Quinn, and her best friend is Jane. She suffers through a motherload of embarassment while trying to hold onto her dignity, ideals, morals, and ethics.
