Christopher's birth story. It was 3 weeks before my due date and my Midwive's decided I needed a ultrasound, I was measuring 40. SO I went for one and the Doctor said the baby should be taken early because at this point he thought the baby was big and would only get bigger. So A week later, June 14th I checken into the hospital again. The procedure of inducing me began. Cervix softening with gel. Wait till the morning and start the Iv. Then after 12 hrs of not much change, they decided to stop the meds and wait again till the next Am. Sad and tired I agreed. So bright and early on June 16th I was hooked up to the Iv and my water was broken. This time they made me walk for a hr. Nothing! So I was put in bed meds turned up and a internal moniter was put in. OUCH! This was at about 9:30am. My contractions were bad and quick. I felt the urge to push and in 1 push he was here. A boy! 8lbs 10oz 20 3/4 inches long. Black hair and a bruised little face. But healthy. Now my baby boy is 3 yrs old and brown hair and eyes.
