My Music Review!

"Sobakasu" ("Freckles")is the first opening theme song of the TV series. A very fun and up-beat song. I think it's one of the most memorable theme songs of the series.

"TACTICS", the first ending song of the TV series, is very raw and seductive. Yellow Monkey knows how to tear up.

"Namida wa Shitte Iru" ("Tears Do Know"), the 2nd TV ending, is sung by Kenshin's seiyuu, Mayo Suzukaze. She even sings it with Kenshin's voice. Waaah, she's so great!

"Heart of the Sword - After the Dawn", the 3rd and 5th TV ending is a bit of a serious song. But it has meaning because "Ken" + "Shin" = "Heart of the Sword". Neat, huh? Personally, this song isn't one of my favorites. I know other people would beg to differ.

"1/2" is the second TV opening theme, and also the best of three. It's a really snazzy song that anyone could really get into. My absolute favorite RuroKen theme song; I know this song by heart and hear it play constantly in my head.

"Fourth Avenue Cafe" is the 4th TV ending. Another personal favorite. It mixes car noises in the background and the lyrics really go with the current storyline. Ah, if only they kept it on longer.

"It Gonna Rain" is the 6th TV ending. It has a sixty-ish sound to it. A very up-beat and happy song. I like the clapping in the background and fun scenario presented in the lyrics.

"1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou" is the 7th TV ending. My sister really likes this song and says that Siam Shade is the BOMB. To me, it's an okay song, but the lead singer of Siam Shade has a bit of an annoying voice. But I've grown to a like it more after listening to it a couple times.

"Niji" is the opening song for the RuroKen movie. Half the song, L'Arc en Ciel (again, yeahy!) is a bit whiny, but the other half sounds pretty good. I really need to listen to this song more, that is if I could make through the whole song.

"Towa no Mirai" is the movie ending song. I didn't really like it. In fact, I couldn't sit through it long enough to listen to it completely. It's a bit depressing, but that fits the end of the movie. Well, I don't really like Animetal anyway.

"Kimi ni Fureru Dake De" is the third opening theme for the TV series. It's a rocker song, very happy and upbeat. I only wished that the opening animation set to it would have a been a bit better, because this was such a good song. I guess since the series was nearing an end, they were getting a bit lazy. Oh well, Curio rocks!

"DAME!" was the final TV ending. It wasn't the best but it was far better to listen to than "Heart of the Sword". A very interesting scenario in the lyrics, but it doesn't really pretain to the Meiji era or any of that. Over all, a very strange, but interesting song.
