Family Shots:  December 2001

I returned home for the first time in two and  a half years.  I was on a very busy schedule but managed to get a few decent shots of my family.  Or maybe I just think they are good shots, because I love them so much!   

Dad and Irene took me to the airport when I left.                               

Zack and Irene are now expecting their first child.  Unfortunately the due date is in September, which is already Irene V., Irene S., Raven and Edi's birth month.  

Strong late afternoon sunlight reflecting off the water made mom shade her eyes in these shots, but I still think it's great to see her smile!  The slight yellowish cast is due to an argument with the scanner.  

My trip did not net me any new photos of Cody, and my photos of Raven were not satisfactory.  However, Raven is coming to Korea for World Cup 2002, so I predict photos of him will hit the internet shortly after that.  However, my trip did let me visit my aunt and uncle in Maine!   

I have the very biased opinion that my aunt Barbara is probably one of the kindest (and the cutest) people in the world.  My uncle Lee who has done photography for years, and even had his own darkroom for over thirty years, was very supportive of my photography, which he got to see in my first solo exhibition.   I prepared a photo of him for this page, but it will not upload no matter what I do.  I'll have to come back to this problem, later.
