Excerpts from Old Albums
Is that cute, or is it feral?

Maybe you thought you had seen it all, but now you know, you hadn't. That is unless you were my parents. I started out as a nice innocent young girl with big eyes and freckles galore. But by 9th grade I had turned into, what? Is that someone wearing so much make-up you can't quite recognize her? You must understand, with parents as permissive as mine in terms of late curfews and freedom to date, I had to act out in some way. All dressed up for Prom 1988, too bad I was going with 5 other friends and didn't have my own date, I must admit that despite the stupid poofy hair I did look pretty good. Or maybe that's just my mom's awesome sewing ability. Thanks mom! She made a better one for Prom 1989, and at least then I had a proper date in a tux, no less! |

First day of school, 1983. This was the only photo I could find where I was smiling on the first day of school. (Of course brother Zack is grimacing, but hey, it's not his homepage!). School was a breeze for me academically, but it wasn't until high school that I gained any social skills. I also gained an "in" style wardrobe... please remember what year it was before you laugh at that one! In 1988, when the photo of me plankton sampling on a Marine Biology field trip was taken I blended in just fine! All my friends had Converse high tops and blue jean jackets! |

This photo of me and my sister Summer Moon was also taken in 1988. We were dressing up, just for the hell of it to knock the redneck element. Today, Summer is also a photographer, but mothering two handsome pre-schoolers takes a lot of her potential photography time.
