~Fall Rendezvous Dispatch~

Volume XI, Number V

~The Day of the report is the 16th. of October of
the Day of the Lord of Two Thousand and One~

Free Trappers:

We had a meeting at the Palace on October 15, 2001. Those who came were: Ken, Lonnie, Terry, Ron, Howard (Oracle), Marlene, Don, Bill, Lynn, Wayne, John C., Myself (TwoMile), and John P.

I gave a financial report. We have $412.88 in our checking account. Club insurance has been paid for the 2002 year. It cost us $348.00 again this year.

The main reason for the meeting was to plan our Fall Rendezvous. The burn ban is off in Kittitas Co. as of last week, so we can have campfires. It was decided to stay with our original dates of Oct. 26, 27, 28. You may need to call any guests that you would like to invite due to the short notice.

John Cockrum and Terry Burger are doing the rifle trailwalk, Ken and Lonnie will set up a clay-bird shotgun match. Don and Marlene are hosting the potluck saturday evening in their Lodge, the club is supply round steaks for every one, which Don and Marlene will cook for us again. Pumpkins are definitely in order. Pumpkin pies are definitely in order. We should do some kind of an evening (after dark) shoot again. I think everyone (Ron, Eric) has repaired their rifles since last year's jack-o-lantern shoot? See the attached Flyer for all the particulars.

In other business,John C. gave a progress report on the club medallion. He is currently in extensive research, He hopes to be to the "development phase" by the end of this year. He welcomes questions and or comments.

I mentioned that we could move our camp about one half mile north to a small lake on Elk Creek next spring if most trappers agree that it would be good. You should check the new site to see if it is to your liking.

The club BIRD HUNT will be December 8.

THE CHRISTMAS PARTY will be December 17, at the Palace.
If you want to take part in the gift exchange, bring a wrapped gift.

See you at the Rendezvous.

Respectfully........

TwoMile.
