And the perfect place turned out to be the Hoh River. They were understaffed at the time so Aliye signed up with the park service and we both went up the Hoh river to clean up some of the camp sites, and enjoy the view along the way.

The Hoh River

The Hoh river is some of the purest, cleanest water on the planet. In fact Washington state uses water from the Hoh river to measure purity in other water sources. As you can see the water is very blue. That is caused by rock dust formed when ice moves over a rock surface.

There were many beautiful views of the peaks that surround the Hoh valley. The sun was out and we could see as far as the mountians would allow.

Ahhh! Trees

There were also many beautiful rises above the river where we could stop and enjoy the day in the shade of some beautiful trees. The Hoh River is famous for beautiful trees. Next (Page 21)
