THE CART:
Many things have been tried, some with more success then others (such as the walking maze), but an
aquaintance of mine developed a cart for her WHS hedgehog that apparently really did the trick! She
originally got the idea off a website that was created for a cat named Speedy who was born without a pelvis.
His owner concocted a great cart so that Speedy could move about independently. Kelsey soon discovered that this
worked well for her hedgehog as well!
Below you will find pictures, and information on how you can build one of these for your WHS
(or otherwise impaired) hedgehog.
This is Speedy in a cart made with K'Nex
Kelsey Corey basically made a miniature cart for her hedgehog, patterned after the one that Speedy's owner built
for his cat. The only major difference (besides the size of course) was that she added a fleece sling
to add both comfort and stability.
