Silfri is a sweet and gentle-natured, five-gaited, silver dapple stallion born July, 1999. He comes with a very nice comformation and a quiet disposition. Silfri stands 13.2 hands tall and is very stoutly built with strong legs. He scored an impressive 8.5 (First Prize) for the strength and quality of his legs in his conformation evaluation. His foals are extremely attractive, with beautiful heads and conformation, lots of tolt with good foot lift, and friendly dispositions. His grandsire is the imported silver dapple bay, first prize stallion, Gustur from Wiesenhof, who is pictured on the USIHC website and on the front of their informative brochures. Silfri's dam, Pruska from Wiesenhof, is the sister of Nattfari from Wiesenhof, who has a 8.55 rating. She is also the grand daughter of honor-prize stallion Hordur 591 fra Kolkuos, known for having descendants that are among the best. Silfri will be standing at stud this breeding season for $750.00 USD. He has been producing approximately 80% silver dapples.
