Rogue Valley Mall opened in the mid-to-late 1980s. This two level mall is located SW of I-5 Exit 30 north of downtown Medford. Mervyn's and JC Penney are on the north and south ends of the mall. Meier & Frank is on the west side of the mall facing the northbound side of the State Route (formerly US) 99 one way couplet. Montgomery Ward originally had a store on the east side of the mall. The former Ward's store is now occupied by the Meier & Frank Home Store and Copeland Sports. Sears has a store in an older, smaller mall east of I-5.
