Secondary State Highway 1F

Three different routes were designated as SSH 1F at different times between 1937 and 1970.

The First SSH 1F

The first SSH 1F was added to the state highway system in 1937. This route began at Jct PSH 1 Chuckanut Drive branch near Allen and headed east. SSH 1F crossed PSH 1 (US 99) north of Burlington and continued east, ending at Jct SSH 1A in Sedro-Woolley. This route was dropped from the state highway system in 1953.

The Second SSH 1F

When the first route of SSH 1F was dropped, a second was added. This route began at Jct PSH 1 (US 99) in Burlington and headed ENE, ending at Jct SSH 1A in Sedro-Woolley. The second SSH 1F was transferred to PSH 16 in 1961.

The Third SSH 1F

A third state highway was designated as SSH 1F in 1967. This route was never posted as SSH 1F, however. This third SSH 1F started at I-5 Exit 250 and headed west to Jct PSH 1 Chuckanut Drive branch (SR 11) in Bellingham's Fairhaven District. The SR designation for this SSH 1F was SR 110 .
