SSH 3C was added to the state highway system in 1937. This route began at Jct SSH 3A (now US 97) between Union Gap and Parker and headed south, ending at Jct SSH 3B (later SR 220, now a county road) west of Toppenish. SSH 3C was dropped from the state highway system in 1957.
