Secondary State Highway 11G

SSH 11G was added to the state highway system in 1951. This route began at Jct PSH 11 (US 395) at Eltopia and headed northerly via Mesa, Othello, and Moses Lake to Jct PSH 7 (now SR 28) at Soap Lake. A branch of SSH 11G was also added to the state highway system from a junction with the SSH 11G trunk in the vicinity of Rocky Ford Creek northwesterly to Jct PSH 7 (now SR 28) in Ephrata. Portions of SSH 11G were not actually opened to traffic until later in the 1950s.

The trunk of SSH 11G became part of SR 17 when the current state highway numbering system was first posted in January 1964. The SSH 11G branch to Ephrata became SR 282.
