THE EVERGREEN STATE FAIR

When You Go To The Fair Remember To:

My Dad and I go to the Evergreen State Fair in Monroe every year. This is a picture of the fair grounds from the top of the Ferris Wheel. My Dad does not like high places but I told him not to worry and just to have fun.

At the petting zoo you can pet all kinds of different aniamls. Just remember to wash your hands when you are done petting the animals.

Make sure you watch the Alaskan Pigs race. They are really funny.

There are lots of games to play so make sure you bring enough money or just have your parents pay. I beat my Dad at putt-putt golf.

When we were watching the logging show, a man climbed all the way up a tall pole. When he got to the top he did a little dance. I won't tell you how he came down!

At the horse arena they had horse races with the Crazy Eights. My Dad said they were better then the chariot race in Ben Hur.

One of the best parts of the fair are the rides. If you go on kids day the rides are a lot cheaper.

After you have eaten some of the great food at the fair it is time to watch the car races. Here they are driving on the figure eight track in trains. A train is 3 cars chained togther. The crowd roars everytime they crash into each other. I hope to see you there next year.
