Washington Cascades
It becomes apparent
where the Cascades got their name
as one wanders
around the cascades you will see the many small streams, from
the melting snows, tumble down the mountain sides. These small
streams meeting with other small streams. As they flow down the
mountain side, forming many a cascade and miniture waterfall,
ever increasing in size producing larger waterfalls and white
water as they head for the rivers that lead to Puget Sound.
