Pearl- Pearl 6.5”x14” Free Floating Brass snare drum. Pearl’s patented “Free Floating” concept is designed to allow the shell to resonate freely by removing all hardware from contact with the shell. Drum has die cast hoops. This is a great, solid, versatile drum. Once again, this drum is new. It does however have a very slight dent in it that was there when it arrived from Pearl. I've made an attempt to highlight this in one of the pictures. It's very nominal but we felt it should be mentioned. List price is $499.00 $249.00........
Legend-Legend 5"x14" maple snare drum. Legend drums were made for a relatively brief time for Kaman Music (Gibraltar/Ovation). All Legend drums are pro high-end maple shells. This drum is 5”x14” and sounds fantastic. It has a nice cherry wood finish with just a few minor scratches. The original throw off was replaced with a nice Pearl model that fit nicely into the original mounting holes and functions much better than the origional generic model. No new holes were drilled. These were in the $500.00 plus price range when they were made in the late ‘80’s. $169.00........
Ludwig-Ludwig 6.5"x14" supraphonic 400 snare drum. This is truly the workhorse snare of the industry. It's hard to beat one of these for a sheer great, consistent sound and versatility. This is a NEW drum! List price is $575.00 $289.00........
WFL-WFL 15" field drum, stamped 1956 on the inside. Nickel hardware. While the throw off has been updated to a P85, no new holes have been drilled. The only "extra" holes are four very small ones where I'm guessing some sort of leg rest or something was once mounted. It's a pretty nice drum. $129.00........
