In Jetpack you play as a greedy treasure hunter eqiped with a zapper and a jetpack. In each level there are a number of items to collect, the main ones being small green emeralds. But this wont always be easy. Evil monsters will endevour to stop your treasure hunting days by, well, killing you.
At the age of five our treasure hunter Beedol Flops dedides he wants to be a treasure hunter, like the TV Hero Fundolf. You set off to the nearest Police Station to ask for directions to the nearest dangerous cave when you see an empty Police Car with the keys in the ignition. You jump in and look around. "Wow a tazer!!!" you cry as you pick the weapon up, flick the keys and drive off. Being only 5 years old, you end up hitting a kangaroo five Senior Citizens and a parked Aeroplane. Eventually you tire of the car and jump out an' hit tha road. You soon come across a cave, which just mysteriously appeared in front of you. You smile, walk in, and get ready for action...
Well actually there is no storyline or plot to Jetpack I just made that all up... :o)
So you may be asking yourself, why is this game so good? It has no plot and sounds pretty damn boring to me. Well this is why it's cewl. One word (Or is that two?). Level Editor. The level editor lets you create levels easilly. The one player game isn't that crash hot really, but making levels is pretty damn cool and kept me addicted for quite awhile. With more or less the snap of your fingers you can create a level that is way more exciting and fun than the levels in the one player game! You can also edit one player levels! Fun for the whole family! :oP

Well as far as graphics go in Retro Games these aren't that great, but hey, who gives?
Sound-----3
The sounds are ok-ish for the type of game, although can get annoying and minotonous. The screams when you die are pretty cool though, and I found myself deliberately killing myself just to hear the little guy scream :P
Longevity-----5
The level editor (and the death scream :P ) will keep you coming back again and again and again. Very cool. Gameplay-----4.5 Can sometimes be fustrating but it is still a very enjoyable game. It is quite amazing the kind of close-call-manouvers you can pull of with the Jetpack and the controls are excellent.
