Canada!

We will start off from Bellevue and drive up to Canada, a 2-1/2 hour trip.  It's best to start early as the hold up will be at the border where waits of 30 minutes to over an hour can be expected.  We will make a few rest stops along the way before hitting the boarder.

Stanley Park

Home of the black squirrels!  Or as Dan calls them, African-Canadian squirrels.  We will drive through the park and end up at the Vancouver Aquarium.  Along the way, keep your eyes open for raccoons and other animals. Although the Orca is no longer there, we will get to see the otters, seals and the highlight of the displays, the beluga whales.  They have a nice underwater viewing area with a floor to ceiling window to view the whales.  We will also view the exhibits of the Puget Sound fishes and other marine life.

Capilano Suspension Bridge

Remember this Uncle Moses?  Guaranteed to make your okole pucker up!  Lots of nice displays, but the best part is walking across the brigde!  You have to go and come back across the bridge, there is no way around it.

Grouse Mountain

Up the gondola ride for another okole puckering ride!  A nice view of the city and some interesting shows with the lumberjacks.

Next stop:  Vancouver Island
