ACHIEVEMENTS
IN the 1904 Fairhaven City Directory, Dora resided as a boarder at 1030 21st Street and her occupation was as an operator at the American Can Company.
ON the 29th of November, 1968, she sold her share of the family farm to the Glacier Park Company. They were an agent for the Atlantic Richfield Oil Company. They bought the land for the purpose of constructing a pier that off loaded crude oil from incoming tankers and loaded fuel from their Whitehorn refinery onto outgoing tankers. Presently, the pier, as well as the refinery, is still in active use by the same company that is currently known as ARCO.
AT the time of her death, her obituary stated that she had lived at the Whitehorn community for 60 years before moving to her last residence at 5068 Waschke Road in North Bellingham. She was also a member of the Triumph Lutheran Church in Ferndale.
