ACHIEVEMENTS
SHE died of peronititis (ruptured appendix). Her obituary was printed in The Deming Prospector on Friday, September 16,1927. The partial article reads, "MRS J. F. HATTON PASSES TO BEYOND. Funeral services for Mrs James F. Hatton, for the past thirty-seven years a resident of Bellingham, and daughter of George A. King of Maple Falls, who died Tuesday, Sept. 13, at her Bellingham home were held today at the Harlow Mortuary. Interment followed in the Kendall cemetery."
