Green
Note the green top. This color signifies Ford's 30LB fuel injector found in 84 and early 85 svo.
Brown
The Brown injector is a 35lb injector (not) to be confused or mistaken with the 36LB injector commonly used in Fords 5.0L. The 35LB injector was Stock goods in the late 85 and 86 svo. It was also standard in the 87-88 Turbo Coupes.
Black
The Black injector is a TOMCO disk style 35lb injector. it is an aftermarket replacement injectors that you may come accross in you wrecking yard searches.

The Collection
Every TurboFord Owner should have a spare collection of Fuel injectors. There are even further upgrades that 2.3T owners can venture forth, that is the 42LB or even the 55LB injector for these engines.
