These are my pictures from the Disneyland Resort.

June 2002.

I'll explain them, as I haven't quite gotten back into the swing of this whole making a web-site thing, and I'm going to be putting the SMALLER versions up on this page, to cut down on the upload times for me. Just click on the picture to go to the larger version.

This is my ex-Girl Scout Troup on the C from California Adventure. We quit GS after the 6th grade, but I don't remember exactly why. Something about wanting to play mother-daughter Bunco (which is a FABULOUS game with dice BTW).
For our Senior Trip right after our graduation from high school, we went to Disneyland with our ex-leader Cathy.

This is us being (and I speak mostly for myself here) crazy at a picture spot.
These pictures (and this trip) were taken a few days after graduation.
Oh, BTW, I tell random stories all throughout my pages (in case you hadn't already noticed).

This is us with our friend Mickey. I have no idea why somebody is giving him bunny ears, when the Mick-ster already has a wonderful set of ears, but there they are. Anywho. BTW that's the Mickey from Steamboat Willie (note that he's black and white), and we're standing by his steamboat.

This is Catlyn, Lindsey, Katy and I on California Screaming. In case you're wondering who I am (as I haven't told you yet, even though I've been in all of these so far), I am the chick who's smiling all cheezy, cause I knew where the cameras were. And I do stupid things like that a LOT.

Now comes less pictures of US and more of things and places around the DL Resort.

This hottie is Andy from Indy. Hence the reason that Indy was one of our favorite rides whilest we were there. We went on it a grand total of I think 7 times (although we made a friend with one of the cast members working Indy--who wasn't Andy--and he was great to us the entire time that we were there. I think his name was Ryan, but I don't remember if that's right. We didn't get a picture of him).

This is Andy from Indy again. Boy, he's really hot, huh? You can tell in this picture why we went on the ride so many times, just to get a glimpse of him.

This is Stitch. No, I have not seen Lilo and Stitch, nor have I seen Stitch! The Movie. I took this picture mostly to waste film. This was the morning that I woke up at 8, showered got dressed and walked out of the hotel room (we stayed at the Fairfield Inn right across Harbor Boulevard--or is it Street, Harbor Street?--from Disneyland), and spent the morning alone, doing things that the rest of the group wouldn't have done, like ride the train all the way around the park, and the monorail (monorail, monorail, mono-D'OH!), and I just walked along Downtown Disney (thinking of buying sunglasses at the REALLY expensive sunglasses store there. I'm glad I didn't, cause I still came back home with $80 in my checking account while I had started with $1000). It was great to NOT be with the "Disneyland Nazi"--you know, like the "Soup Nazi"--with her proverbial "Clipboard o' Fun" (which was NOT so fun). Anyways. The next few pictures are like that--taken that same morning.

My dad likes trains, and whilest I was waiting for the Disneyland Railroad to get to the station so that I could board it, I saw this handcart, and thought, "Boy, my dad would love to see a picture of that" so I took a picture of it, and thought that the wonderful patrons of the world wide web would like to see it too. Not that all that many wonderful patrons of the WWW even LOOK at random sites like this, but I wouldn't know, cause I don't think I have a counter...

I took this picture of the door to the slightly-less-than-famous Club 33 (or is it famous? there are a LOT of members, although I can't afford to become a member). As I was centering the shot, this dude walked up and parked his stroller RIGHT in FRONT of the door. I waited for him to get OUT of my shot, and then a Cast Member laughed at me, cause she was waiting for me to TAKE the stupid picture. Anyways, here it is. (UPDATE!) I just found out--well, not JUST--that the color of the door is named "No-See-Um-Green" and that a lot of things that you are not supposed to notice at Disneyland are painted in this color, but I don't know what they are, so that was less useful than other things I've told y'all!.

Anywho. To get to my pictures of Magic Mountain and our hotel room, click here.
