RESCUE--by defininition means to; remove from harms way, to save, or to set free.
In a day and age when there are rescue agencies out there to save every breed of dog to just about every living creature on the planet. Some people may ask;" So why is this needed?"
It's because 99% of todays animals are bought on a spur of the momment decision.

So now you know why we do what we do. To break this down even father. We take in snakes and some other types of reptiles either by owner release or that have been turned into the local authorities. We quaranteen them for a minimum of one month if they were owner released and a minimum of 3 months if the local shelter turns them over to us. We make sure they've received a veterinarian's health check before being adopted out. If any of the snakes need veterinarian care they get it.
All of the snakes that come to Help for Homeless Snakes Org. will either receive an adoptive commited home or they will stay in the care of Help for Homeless Snakes Org. we do not believe any of these snakes should be euthanized(unless for health reasons) just because they take up room, room will always be made one way or another. They did not ask to be put into the pet trade for someone to buy.
