Negative Impacts on Humanity
If our predictions about genetically modified organisms to fight disease came true than people would lose their jobs. The companies that produce the vaccines would go out of business and have to lay off millions of people. This would create jobs for the companies that get the patent for these vaccines. Some nurses would also lose their jobs because people could vaccinate themselves. The result of this would be thousands of people losing their jobs.
The world's population would also increase. This increase in population would cause people to starve to death all around the world. The third world countries would have wide spread famine. Theses new vaccines may save people from getting infectious and terminal diseases but they cannot prevent people from dying of hunger.
