Date: Opened July 1, 1998 Theatre: The Aldwych Role: The "Man" Book by: Andrew Lloyd Webber, Based on: The novel "Whistle Down The Wind" by Lady Mary Mills (Haley Mills Mother), and the 1961 Movie of the same name. Synopsis: Set in the Deep South of the late 1950's, a young girl named Swallow discovers a Man hiding in the barn. She and the other children try to help him from being captured by the Authorities. NOTE: Andrew Lloyd Webber redid this Musical after it's opening on Broadway. New York theatre critics gave it a pan. (how typically arrogant!)  Song ListRecording |
