THE BLESSED COUPLE



There was no room 
for Him in the inn
No one expected 
Him there.

I wasn't there to 
witness His birth
But I knew how 
His mother must 
have felt.

Joseph was there
for Mary
I know how he 
loved her so.
Faith and Love 
made their journey 
possible
Bethlehem was 
their goal.

They never 
gave up hope
Nor complain about 
the fact when there 
was no room for
them in  the inn
so in the manger
the stayed instead.

Mary persevered
Joseph did, too!
The blessings from heaven 
Poured all over them,
And Baby Jesus was born!
