Struggling to
face the day
Windows shut!
Door locked
Lights out
Hiding was the
only solution
Misinterpreted
by the mind
Cluttered with guilt,
hatred, and despair.
I have cried

My heart deserted!
No sound of hope

My world stopped!
I died!
I have been crucified
with Christ!
I no longer live
But Christ lives in me.
He took away my
deserted heart.
He gave me a new heart
with a new spirit!
