1 John 4:4 - You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
Life is not perfect! My walk with God is not easy, but through my faith and surrendering everything to God, I am winning the battle. Feeling discouraged at times is not unavoidable. There are many things in life that I have to deal with every day, my family, work, friends, the traffic, the people, etc. Sometimes I feel like I am losing the passion to work for the Lord. I have moments that I feel like just throwing away the towel and not fight anymore. When the devil tries to wear me down, I tell him to leave me alone in the name of Jesus. He has the gull to keep sending me problems on top of problems. He does not want me to be successful in achieving my goals and being productive with my family life. He sends people to me to remind me to be discouraged and non-productive. Sometimes he sends my past back to me so I will go down in depression and forget that I exist, but he is not getting through me. He does not want me to be free so I will not be able to help others.
With my faith in God, I am standing on a firm ground. I will continue to stand up to the devil and win. God has thrown the devil away from Him, and I will do the same. I will remind my self everyday that I am winning the battle because God is with me. I will continue to hear the word, listen to the word, know the word, write the word, and knowing and understanding more of the word. I will say it loud and louder everyday.
