ADMIT:

The first step toward receiving the salvation of Jesus is to admit you have sinned. Every person sins but you are the only one who can own up to your sins. You must confess to God that you have sinned and that you know you have done wrong.

BELIEVE:

The second step toward receiving the salvation of Jesus is to believe that He is the Son of God. Jesus came to earth so He could live among the people, teach them about God, and show them God's love. Then He died on the cross so the sins of all people could be forgiven. Each person must have faith in who Jesus said He was. Only you can accept the love He has for you. When you ask Him to be your Savior, He forgives all your sins.

Mark 1:15: "(Jesus said), 'The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!'

John 3:15: "That everyone who believes in him may have eternal life."

The third step toward receiving the salvation of Jesus is to give your word to God that you will obey Him. When you give Him this promise, it means that you will let Him show you the right things to do, the things you should say, and even the things you should think. This means that you will try to live as Jesus would want you to live.
