"What Really Matters is You!"
[Unknown Author]
As Carl Coleman drove to work one morning, he bumped fenders with another
motorist. Both cars stopped, and the woman driving the other car got out to
survey the damage. She was very distraught, knowing the accident was her fault.
She admitted this, adding that her car was brand-new, less than two days from
the showroom. She dreaded facing her husband.
Coleman was sympathetic, but knew he needed to pursue the exchange of
license and registration data. As the woman reached into her glove compartment
to retrieve the documents in an envelope, a piece of paper tumbled out.
Written in her husband's distinctive handwriting were the following words:
"In case of accident, please remember . . . Honey, it's you I love . .
. not the car."
"'This is My commandment, that you love one
another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down
one's life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command
you.'" (John 15:12-14 NKJV)
