...at long last, we meet.

These are my pictures. I prefaced them with a normal picture of me in a tuxedo so you can see that I don't always look like I am on morphine. Also, you can get an understanding of how and what a halo apparatus actually does.

The Brooklyn Penguins

My brother Matt. This guy is my lifeblood. No one I know has a brother as dear and special as mine. He's not the softest person in the world, but his heart is made of pure gold and in his own discreet way, he shows it from time to time. Love is almost too short of a word to express my feelings for him. I am indeed one lucky individual. It's quite cliched, but he really is "THE" man.

Might as well start at the top

The incision was started around the point of C1, just below the notch at the lowermost portion of my skull. We(the doctor and I) assumed there are around 50 staples there. To remove them on November 29th, the doctoractually had to remove the halo vest because the staples went so far down my back. Thankfully ,(because I'm so vain) the scar is very, very light.

Still no angel

Just a basic shot of the whole contraption. It's clear in this picture how the pins/screws are fastened intot he forehead. They only thread in slightly, and NO, they really do not hurt.
