My Family


Webster's dictionary defines as family as "a group of people connected by blood or marriage." I think that there is a lot more to it than that, but I'm not going to argue with the dictionary today. So without further ado, here is my family.




MOM & DAD

These are my parents, Matthew and Marica, they are the tacky glue that binds this crazy family together. Here we see them at a Cougar Football game cheering on their favorite Pac-10 team. We also see Dad feeding the hungry hoards at the 2003 Clark Co. Fair and Mom's "work" picture.







CARRIE

This is my older sister Caroline Nicole. She is working on her graduate degree in hydrogeology at WSU. She has a scardy dog named Bear (hiding behind the newspaper) and a psychotic cat called Poly (see Carrie's Critters).







MANDY

This is my younger sister. She just started her 2nd semester at WSU. Being that she lives in the same building that I do we see each other a lot. It comes in handy to have a sibling around to talk to, borrow clothes from and so on.






ME

So I suppose I should include myself as a member of my family huh? So here I am, looking as perplexed as usual.








GRANDMA & GRANDPA

These are my grandparents (on my Dad's side of the family). Frank and Mildrid Wannamaker. I have many many wonderful memories that include this pair. My grandmother passed away last October and is very missed. She and my grandfather were married for 63 years, I can only image what that must be like. Their anniversary is the same day as my birthday which makes both events extra special. I make it a point to visit Grandpa every time I go home. He doesn't get out and loves to see his family.
