Code of the Wolf
**Prowess: To seek excellence in all endeavors, seeing strength to be used in the service of justice and the pack, rather than in personal aggrandizement. All members of the pack, from the Alphas, down to the newest pup, should be respected as individuals whose opinions are important to the growth of the pack.
**Justice: Seek always the path of 'right', unencumbered by bias or personal interest. Recognize that the sword of justice can be a terrible thing, so it must be tempered by humanity and mercy. If the 'right' you see, agrees with others, and you seek it out without bending to the temptation for expediency, then you will earn renown beyond measure.
**Loyalty: Be known for unwavering commitment to the Pack and ideals you choose to live by. There are many places where compromise is expected; loyalty is not amongst them. The pack should remain loyal to every member, and every member in return remain loyal to the pack.
**Defense: Seek always to defend your pack, your family, and those to whom you believe worthy of loyalty. Every member of the pack should be willing to come to the aide or defense of every other member of the pack. No exceptions. No member of the pack should ever feel threatened or intimidated by any other member of the pack.
**Courage: Be prepared to make personal sacrifices in service of the precepts and people you value. At the same time, seek wisdom to see that stupidity and courage are cousins. Courage also means taking the side of truth in all matters, rather than seeking the expedient lie. Seek the truth whenever possible, but remember to temper justice with mercy, or the pure truth can bring grief.
**Faith:Have: faith in your beliefs, for faith roots you and gives hope against the despair that human failings create.
**Humility: Value first the contributions of others; do not boast of your own accomplishments, let others do this for you. Tell the deeds of others before your own, according them the renown rightfully earned through virtuous deeds. In this way it is well done and glorified, helping not only the gentle spoken of but also all who call yourself Pack.
**Franchise: Seek to emulate everything I have spoken of as sincerely as possible, not for the reason of personal gain but because it is right. Do not restrict your exploration to the small world, but seek to infuse every aspect of your life with these qualities. Should you succeed in even a tiny measure then you will be well remembered for your quality and virtue.
Wolf Medicine
The mournful cry of the Wolf is the sound that links this World with the one beyond. The Wolf is the pathfinder, the forerunner of new ideas.
Fiercely loyal to friends, family, ideals and principles. There is no compromise for you.
Territorial. You protect all that is yours and your family's at any expense. You are fearless, but not reckless in your protection.
Strong family structure. There is no doubt who the elders, patriarchs and parents are, or about their roles in the family structure. Disobedience, selfishness and unruly behavior is not tolerated as there are strong boundaries for the young. They are taught well and carefully so that they may assume leadership roles in their own family structures.
Sense of adventure. You love to explore , to stretch out for new horizons. You have a thirst for knowledge and for learning new things. You are eager to share these things, which makes you a natural teacher. Your adventures may take you away from home and family, but it is important that you have this security to return to.
Respect of others is Paramount, whether its another pack or an individual courtesy should be shown at all times.
