Instructional Goal and Objectives
- Goal: A Web-based tutorial designed for fourth and fifth grade teachers to ease anxiety in students before and during standardized testing through strategies in specific content areas, time management, and calming techniques. The result of this goal would be greater student achievement on standardized testing.
- Objectives:
- Given multiple sample test questions in the subject area of reading, fourth and fifth grade teachers will identify four questioning strategies with 95% accuracy.
- Given multiple sample test questions in the subject area of math, fourth and fifth grade teachers will identify three questioning strategies with 95% accuracy.
- Fourth and fifth grade teachers will recall five out of six out of ten calming techniques that can be implemented in a classroom environment.
- Given pervious student testing evaluations, fourth and fifth grade teachers will implement three out of five time management strategies in the classroom.
