About Zao Zao is a Christian band from WV, who's lineup has never had the same people except for the drummer, Jesse Smith. Before their signing onto Solid State records, Zao released a cd entitled "All else Failed", which was considered Hardcore praise and worship type. Once signed onto Solid State, The band released "The Splinter Shards the Birth of Seperation", which was also considered Hardcore that was glorifying to God. Their next cd was "Where Blood and Fire Brings Rest." This album came as a shock to many fans, as the band changed their sound from Hardcore to Metal. Though they were now much harder than before, their lyrics and actions still praised Jesus. "Liberate Te Ex Inferis" has been a continuation or sequel to Blood and Fire in intensity. The Band Zao has Changed greatly and has become more popular than ever, with the Liberate t-shirt being Tooth and Nail's best selling shirt of all time. With Massive reviews and fans, that follow them until Zao will depart from the music industrie. A powerful force in the Underground.
