Could you just open your eyes?
Could you take a look at me?
Could you peer deep inside my soul?
Could you tell me what you see?
If I was sad, would you cry too?
If I was happy, would you also laugh?
If you could, would you stand up for me?
Would you speak out on my behalf?
Would it be so very hard
For you to just pass me a smile?
If this is what it takes for me,
Would you go the extra mile?
If I were chained, would you untie me?
Would you help me climb down the tower?
Could you just spend a day with me?
Could you at least give me an hour?
Could you please just talk to me?
Could you please return my call?
If I died, would you revive me?
If I jumped, would you break my fall?
If I wanted to leave this place,
Could you please take me away?
If I really wanted to die,
Would you convince me to live another day?
Could you just do something for me,
Could you give me what I deserve as mine?
All I want is to not be forgotten,
And all I'm asking is your time.
