Dreamworld
Beskyddarinnan, Guardian of Secret Wishes
They did the acid rain dance
As their gods cried out in pain,
Praying to the fantasy
That they have made in vain.
Islands for the mysticized
Surrounded by dead seas,
Nothing left to nourish
The thoughts the ancients seize.
Zephyr in the midnight sky,
The blow of wind has ceased;
But for our deepest thoughts to flow,
Our deams must be released.
Rewrite the ancient prophecy
That has already been fulfilled;
Now the greatest nightmare has come true,
The liquid of time is spilled.
Eden is now burning
At the serpent hands of man,
And the shimmering crystal palace
Is made entirely of sand.
Search for the hidden valley
Where fate and fortune lie,
But anyone can find it,
With open mind and open eye.
The world is an illusion;
Denial covers lies,
A delicate web of deception
To replace anguish in their cries.
At night, you hear the dreamer scream
As he calls out from his bed;
For he has seen the things we've done,
And heard the things we've said.
Hold up the shadow lantern,
And shine it to the light;
And never be afraid to dream,
Freedom wakes when does the night.
