Fading
Material fear
Is a high price to pay;
Your soul's your currency
When fading away.
With illogical reason,
You are what you say,
And the falsely accused
Are now fading away.
Immortality beckons
To those who someday
Must abandon themselves
'Cause they're fading away.
A sunbeam of nightmares,
A misty, pure ray;
A beacon of hope
When you're fading away.
Regulations and rules,
Yet you do what you may,
And illegal justice
Is fading away.
Deep-sea seclusion
In metropolitan's bay;
Swimming and sinking,
Then fading away.
Rejuvination dillusions,
You rest where you lay,
Guarding eternity
As it's fading away.
Silently sleeping,
Evading the day;
Just drifting, and floating,
And fading away.
