Love
The price of life,
Your money's spent,
Living through
These dreams undreamt.
Peals of laughter,
Cries of pain,
Watching while you
Go insane.
The mirror's shattered,
This lie is old,
Repeating stories
You've been told.
They smile
When they see you cry,
They laugh
While they watch you die.
You say you want
So much for me,
But still you erase
My legacy.
Evil letters,
A hurtful word,
And though to you
It seems absurd,
Every word means
So much to me,
But I know I cannot
Make you see.
And I know you believe
In Grace from Above;
But I can tell you right now,
This isn't love.
