BOOK REVIEWS

Well, my library of books is getting bigger and bigger, that I thought, well, maybe I should let the good people of the pagan community know of what good and bad books are out there.  So, the following list are the books that I currently own.  Rating out of five.

Horne, F.  (2000) Life's A Witch:  A Handbook for Teen Witches Random House Australia Inc.  NSW
This book is OK, not really my cup of tea, but is good for teens just  starting out.  I thought this had too much spells and the like rather than good stuff on the Sabbats and Esbats.  I do like some of the spells and ideas though, and I've used a few myself.

Horne, F. (1999) Witch: A Magickal Year Random House Australia Inc. NSW
This book has to be her best by far...it has heaps of great interviews, including one with a voodoo practitioner...heaps or correspondance...ideal for the beginner and advance alike.

Horne, F.  (1998) Witch:  A Personal Journey  Random House Australia Inc.  NSW
This book is definitely one of my favs because it is one womans journey of the spiritual....and it is pack full of info at the same time.  I love ....a big recommend

Starhawk, (1999...reprint from 1979) The Spiral Dance  Harper Collins Publishers Inc.  San Francisco
This is another really good book that I love a lot.  I has a lot of coven work, but it can definitely be applied to solitary.  She is a wonderful author, with views and history of the Craft.....a must have!

Telesco, P.J.  (1999)  A Charmed Life:  Celebrating Wicca Everyday  The Career Press Inc  New Jersey
This book is pretty good at  molding Wicca into everyday, mundane things....a real good buy.
