Yes, you're right, there really isn't anything that you can say... So you do what everyone else does... Hide away and pretend that love doesn't exist...
OK so perhaps that's a bit OTT, John has been a great friend, then a great boyfriend, then a great fiance, then things seemed to stop working and now he's trying really hard to be a good friend again. (Even though he was still wearing the ring I bought him for almost year after we broke up! - What's that about?) The only thing is, it's never ever going to be as good a friendship as we should be able to have.
John is currently seeing a 16 yr old, Claire, who he met at the local secondary school where he worked as a caretaker. From what I can gather she seems really nice and I wouldn't mind getting to know her better!
