Yes you've guessed it, these are as often as possible, money permitting!!!
Jade and I always start our nights out with a 1.5 litre bottle of wine between us, and at the minute our favourite has to be 'Bellabrusco' which is only £1.99 from our local off licence!! After this, we are usually quite tipsy, and make our way down to our local pub... The Black Horse
This pub may sound like an old fogies pub, but check out the TALENT on the pool table!!! (That is when Jade and I haven't taken it over for a game or several!!!) Not to mention the Bar Staff...

Sorry about that, hormones taking over again, anyway, yeah, we usually have a couple of games of pool, or sometimes we even challange the locals to a game of doubles!!! - a GREAT way to chat up cute guys, if there are two of them... two of you...?
As we are playing, we usually continue our drinking with a Double Martini Rosso & Lemonade for me, and a Double Bicardi and Coke for Jade. This is known to our FAVOURITE barman as "The Usual!!!" (See, it's NOT just in films that you can get away with that!)

After The Black Horse, we usually travel down the street to The Union Bar (as opposed to the Soviet Nightclub upstairs from it...coincidently where I met a certain bloke who IS going to phone me!!!) ... Anyway, in the Union, we usually grab a Vodka Flyer or two (each,) which seems to be quite potent stuff - Vodka & Caffine - especially great if you're like me, and can get your highs from caffine alone! If we are there early enough, and the crowds of rowdy lads have not taken over the pool table there, we may even have a few games of pool here too. (Well, it gives the bar staff a good laugh!!!)

After The Union, we usually visit The Presidents which is good music, and not much else, EXCEPT...
It offers the best range of COCKTAILS!!! that Consett has to offer...
The range starts with £1.50 shots, such as Tequila Slammers, Traffic Lights & Aftershock!
Then, the slightly more expensive, but well worth the hit, the £3.00 Cocktail drinks, including some of our (Tried & Tested) favourites, such as Sex-on-the-Beach, Orgasms, & Zombies!
Also available are the £5.00 cocktails, but as such, these have always been out of our price range...Sob...!

After that, we'll toddle off to The Bizness where there is a pool room, a bar, and the nightclub scene in one place!!! (OK, it may not sound like much, but when you've lived in Consett all your life...) Well, we always enter this place, determined to liven up the place, and we usually scout around the pool room, (There's always some decent Talent there) and then head upstairs to the dancefloor!!!
I immediatly go straight to our resident DJ Matt, while Jade goes to the bar, and I don't even need to say anything...
A few songs later, our anthem is bound to be played... Song 2 by Blur!!! To which we generally let our hair down, and go slightly CRAZY dancing to the best, and most inspiring song written!!! - Thanks Matt!!!
By this time, Jade will be served, and usually returns with a Tia Maria and Coke for the Caffine Addict Anonymous... and her usual... Bicardi and Coke.Occasionally we will deviate from these flavours, and Jade likes the coconutty Malibu and Coke whereas I sometimes enjoy a bottle... perhapsIron Bru Stinger, Metz, or Batida.We then generally dnace the night away... (That reminds me... Have I mentioned the most fabulous website ever???

Anyway, back to the Bizness... Depending on our money situation, we continue with our preferred drinks (as above) but often, lack of funding forces us to cheaper beverages. If this happens, I usually turn to the House Double White Rum and Coke and Jade turns toHouse Vodka These are usually on special offer!!! BUT if the situation becomes any worse it is not unknown for both of us to turn to whatever drink is sitting next to us!!!
We DO dance a lot, but we also spend some time in the bar, taking a break, and loads of time in the pool room, surveying the Talent, and occasionally challenging some cute unsuspecting lad to a game!?!

When we leave The Bizness, we often go to Brannigans for a last drink, and to meet up with a few friends... In this bar, there is often a wide selection of Live Music with some of the local bands playing. It is a nice rounding off to a good Night Out, seteling down with good company, (Yes, I do mean you Jade!) a good drink (usually a bottle of WKD,) and good conversation (With all your mates, or that cute bloke you played a couple of games of pool with!) Depending on what night it is, we usually head back to our 'Buttie' shop, OK officially it is a pizza shop, but we are well known in there for ordering two chip butties, as we are nearly always very VERY drunk by that time of night!!!
