Why I just can’t grab or grasp,
The concepts all around.
And when I try to concentrate,
My thoughts just run aground.

It’s simple stuff I just don’t get,
Just everyday type things,
Like H2O, and SO4,
And simple benzene rings.

I picture all the colours,
Of solutions I have seen.
But I can’t recall if iron salts,
Are blue, or pink, or green.

I really should start thinking,
‘Bout this test I have to do,
But this test has got me nervous,
Now I’m bursting for the loo!
