New Years Resolution
I’m sorry I embarrassed you,
Or if I caused you pain.
I promise I will never ever
Act like that again.
My resolution’s to stay sober,
Every night we’re out from now,
And hopefully not drinking
Will stop me being such a cow.
I really didn’t mean it,
To hurt you, like I have done.
I hope you can forgive me,
With another chance – just one.
And if I’m once again a bitch,
Like I appeared to be that night,
Or if I piss somebody off,
And end up in a fight,
I’d totally understand it,
If you want to shut the door,
And say the words I’d hate to hear,
That we are friends no more.
